About This Course
Founded in 1889 as a sailing club and continues today to be sailing club with regular regattas, White Bear Yacht Club added a 9-hole course designed by Willie Watson in 1912. Three years later, Donald Ross redesigned the original nine holes and was commissioned to add a second nine. Though the course is only 6,450 yards with a par 72, the terrain is hilly and with magnificently contoured greens that make it a fair test of golf.
