Plainfield Country Club
Course Overview
Plainfield Country Club is home to a timeless and nationally ranked Donald Ross golf course. Established in 1890 and transformed in 1921 by Ross, Plainfield is a world-renowned country club steeped in tradition and history. For over 125 years, its goal has been to give its members an array of club sports and social activities, all within a warm and inviting atmosphere. The course itself is built on a 21,000 year old glacial terminal moraine with the clubhouse occupying the highest point in Middlesex County. Donald Ross‘ routing over the property’s rolling hillocks yielded many singularly distinctive holes.
