How PARennial Rewards Work in Competitions

    PARennial Golf·Feb 18, 2026·5 min read

PARennial competitions award both standings points and PARennial Rewards. Here is how prize pools, payouts, ties, and the Money List work.

    #Competitions#Getting Started

One of the easiest ways to get confused in PARennial competitions is to treat points and prize payouts like the same thing. They are not.

When a tournament finalizes, two separate results matter.

    • Standings points move you up or down the season leaderboard.
    • Prize payouts add PARennial Rewards facility credit to your total.

    Standings vs. Rewards

Standings points decide your position in the season race. Prize payouts are what feed the Money List. You can have a strong season from a standings perspective, a strong season from a payout perspective, or both.

That distinction matters because higher finishes do more than one thing at once. A good week can help your playoff position and your rewards balance at the same time.

    How Prize Pools Work

Each tournament carries its own prize pool. In the current 2026 schedule, Standard events show 25,000-point prize pools, Signature events show 40,000-point prize pools, and Majors show 50,000-point prize pools.

The top 10 finishers earn a share of the pool, and ties split the combined payout for the positions they occupy.

    Why Category Still Matters

Category affects more than purse size. It also affects the standings points available. Under the default points table, a Standard win is worth 500 standings points, a Signature win is worth 700, a Major win is worth 750, and a Playoff win is worth 1,000.

That is what makes bigger events matter so much. You are not only playing for a larger payout. You are also playing for a larger jump in the season race.

What the Money List Tells You

The Money List is the season-long ranking of total prize earnings. It is useful because it highlights who is actually turning starts into rewards, even when the standings tell a slightly different story.

If you want the simplest way to think about it, use this rule: standings tell you who is closest to the title, while the Money List tells you who has won the most along the way.
